If you’re anything like us, food is one of the most important things when you’re on vacation (or anytime really)! Where to get it, what the choices are, and what cooking facilities are available – all very good information to have. So we wanted to lay out all the food options for guests at The Range.

When You Feel Like a Drink or a Meal at The Range

Come visit our custom converted 1959 Airstream bar next to the barn to enjoy our selection of wine, Texas beers, Texas liquors, cocktails and more.

Our restaurant is now open! Our restaurant offers family-style dining in our two-story, open-air cedar barn. Offering charcuterie boxes on Thursdays (pre-order required), an a la carte menu for dinner on Fridays, and breakfast and dinner on Saturdays by reservation.

Reservations for Saturday brunch and dinner are required for resort guests and general public. Reservations are available up to 2 months in advance. Click here to make a reservation.

When You Want to Cook

If you love whipping up meals, we offer a microwave and a charcoal Weber grill in every trailer. There are no working stoves or ovens inside the trailers. (For a detailed list of the kitchen supplies in our trailers, check out this blog post.)

We don’t provide charcoal grills at our open sites, due to feedback that most trailer owners prefer to use their own.

We have mini refrigerators in every trailer, so you can bring your own food or you can purchase food items from local grocery stores. For ease and to guarantee you find what you want, we recommend bringing groceries with you. Four minutes away, the Bristol General Store sells essentials and practices social distancing and safety measures. Additionally the local HEB store is less than 20 minutes away and offers curbside pickup and Shipt delivery. (Please note: curbside and Shipt require advance booking.)

When You Want to Eat Out On The Town

There are some delicious local restaurants in the area too!

The Bristol General Store is a hidden gem – or maybe not so hidden given the amount of media attention its sushi has received! Stop in for what many people have called the best sushi they’ve ever eaten, and very good noodles too. Sugar Ridge Winery recently added food to its repertoire and it is delicious – perfect for a long lunch with a wine tasting! Wildflower Cafe (currently closed for construction, we’ll update when it reopens) has excellent lunch options, and The Range owner Sarah says their Saturday brunch is absolutely delicious. Zagalas has excellent pizza and pasta. The Kolache Depot Bakery makes delicious kolaches and has a drive through! El Mexicano Grille offers solid Mexican food – the enchiladas are a personal favorite.

There are also many drive through / fast food options available not too far away, including Chick-Fil-A and Buc-ee’s.

There is no shortage of delicious options at and around The Range! Stay tuned for more information as The Range’s restaurant expands.
